MASCOT MONDAY – “El Tri”

 In Uncategorized
The Mexican National Soccer design features an artistic rendition of the Aztec warrior “Cuāuhocēlōtl”, meaning eagle warrior. Lightly painted into the background is the Mexican eagle clutching a serpent in his talons and framed in by cactus. The official Mexico Football jersey is traditionally green and trimmed with red and white and referred to as El Tricolor or El Tri “Three Colors”. Mexico is the US national team’s most heated rival and I love it when we can beat them, but I do respect how the Mexican team plays!!
